What’s the role of suffering in the Christian life? Why do evil and suffering exist in the world?
Brent and Ian talk with Bill and Will Kynes, the authors of a new IVP America book called ‘Wrestling with Job: Defiant Faith in the Face of Suffering’.
Bill was the senior pastor at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Annandale, Virginia. He’s a senior teaching fellow with the C.S. Lewis Institute and a member of the TGC Council and has been a Veritas Forum speaker.
Will is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Samford University in Alabama. He’s written extensively on Job and the Wisdom Literature.

George is an ordained minister, pastoral care counselor, recovery ministry founder and recovery activist. He’s the founder of the Sober Truth Project and the Timothy Initiative.

Sarah is a ministry trainer, consultant, and coach who works with church planters, pastors, and ministry leaders across the States. She leads seminars for parents on family discipleship. She served with the Evangelical Covenant Church as the executive pastor for Sanctuary Church in Providence, Rhode Island, and previously was a staff trainer and an area director for IVP. She’s the co-host of ‘The People of the Way’ podcast.
