God‘s story is the story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. But it‘s also humanity‘s story, the story of a world fallen and blown apart and of a world reshaped and restored. It‘s the beginning of all beginnings and the end of all ends. Join Brent Siddall and the Rev Ian ‘Reido‘ Reid as they explore God, time, salvation and the cosmos. Explore the stories of Western culture as they pivot and interact with the main narrative of salvation history.

Who was artist Georges Rouault? In what sense was he a prophet in the darkness?
Many consider Georges Rouault to be one of the most important painters of the last few centuries, yet both the secular world and the church have struggled to engage with his work which is profoundly shaped by his Christian faith.
Brent talks with Wesley Vander Lugt who is the editor of a new book with IVP America ‘A Prophet in the Darkness: Exploring Theology in the Art of Georges Rousault’.
In this volume, a group of theologians, artists, and historians seek to bring Rouault out of the shadows. Wesley is adjunct professor of theology and acting director of the Leighton Ford Initiative for Theology, the Arts, and Gospel Witness at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte.
