We're joined by Dalene Joy Fisher to examine the faith of Mary Wollstonecraft, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell and Anne Bronte. How did they use their faith and their writings to improve women’s position in society?
Dalene Joy Fisher is Assistant Provost, Dean and Associate Professor of English at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Dalene’s book ‘Resisting the Marriage Plot – Faith and Female Agency in Austen, Bronte, Gaskell and Wollstonecraft’ is published by IVP America.
